The City & Guilds Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF) is for practitioners who lead the internal quality assurance process within a centre or organisation and have responsibility for managing the quality of the assessment process, practice and the performance of assessors.

It is recommended that learners hold one of the following qualifications prior to enrolement:
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
- A1 Assess candidates using a range of methods
- D32/D33 Assess candidate performance / assess candidates using a different range of evidence
Delivery methods & course duration:
The Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF) is delivered over 3 classroom based training days, observations and self-study.
Assessment is through: Observation by your assessor, products of your IQA work, written statements, written and verbal answers to questions, written and verbal statements, professional discussion, witness statements, assignments and projects.
