Level 2 Award in Security Officer (QCF) – City & Guilds & Highfield
The safety of persons, objects and property is the main objective of a Security Officer.
However, it is now also recognised that the Security Officer has a customer service role to play and has the opportunity and responsibility to create a good first impression of the company that they represent. Manned guarding covers a wide and varied range of duties requiring well trained and qualified Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed Security Officers to take on the responsibilities associated with their role.
Applicants will need to take the relevant modules for the sector in which they wish to work or train and also be required to obtain a Security Industry Authority (SIA) license on successful completion of the module.* Please note that the SIA will charge for the license application and this is not included in the cost of the course.
