Qualification details:   

The Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (QCF) is specifically aimed at those who are involved in various sports, leisure and other recreational activities.

The course is also suitable for instructors of all types who work with and have responsibility for individuals engaging in sports and leisure activities.

The Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (QCF) not only covers Basic Life Support procedures but also other conditions ranging from minor injuries to more serious conditions such as head injuries and hypothermia.

Delivery methods & course duration:

The duration of the Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (QCF) is 2 days classroom based training incorporating both theory and practical sessions.

Assessment is carried out by completion of five practical assessments and two multi-choice question papers.

After successful completion of the course and assessments candidates will be awarded the Qualsafe approved Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid Certificate which is valid for 3 years.
